Eurovision Live Concert 2017 in Setúbal: Eurovision is the place for statements, says Sanja Vučić

PORTUGAL – Sanja Vučić is best known for being the lead vocalist of the Serbian band ZAA and represented Serbia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “Goodbye”. We met her at Setúbal’s Eurovision Live Concert 2017 event and we had a small chat with her. We remind you are live in Portugal and covering the event so stay tuned for more.

Positive Energy Day 2017 in Athens: watch Melisses performing

GREECE – The 2017 edition of Amita Motion’s Positive Energy Day concert took place on September 8th at the OAKA Wall of Nations. Ince again the open concert gathered more than 15,000 people to watch live performances by famous pop rock electronic music. Among them various Eurovision stars like Helena Paparizou, Eleni Foureira and Melisses. In a series of videos available on our YouTube channel you can enjoy Helena Paparizou performances including the “Number One”, Eleni Foureira performing the cover of the 2015 Israeli entry in Greek and Melisses, the band which participated in the 2011 national selection.

Salvador Sobral gives his last concert; official announcement

PORTUGAL – With a message on YouTube and Facebook, the 2017 Eurovision winner, the first ever for Portugal, Salvador Sobral announces his withdrawal from the stages with a last concert on September 8th for everyone and free entrance. The event will take place at Jardins do Casino Estoril. We sincerely hope this is a temporary indeed withdrawal from the performances and we truly wish him the best of health.

Nony wants to represent France in Eurovision 2018

FRANCE – Participant in the 11th edition of Secret Story and early eliminated from the show, Anthony Kruger aka Nony wishes to represent France in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest and he admits he has penned a song for the France 2 submissions.

Alongside David Sansault formed the duo Tribal King. He also prepares a new single soon therefore such a statement about Eurovision can easily bring publicity and why not some extra sales / downloads not to mention some extra attention.

It will be a huge honour for me, he adds in his statement for his potential Eurovision venture.

Madonna’s house in Portugal sparkles Eurovision rumours

PORTUGAL – Justin Timberlake happened to be nearby Sweden and immediately invited by SVT for the 2016 Grand final interval act. Lady GaGa rumoured to have been approached for the 2017 Eurovision Grand final interval act (although Ruslana’s husband denied the rumour) and now Madonna in Portugal?

And on Saturday, Madonna treated her fans to three major announcements between two posts on Instagram. The 59-year-old revealed she officially moved to Portugal, is working on a movie and making new music. Surely a Eurovision appearance can boost her projects promotion.

‘The energy of Portugal is so inspiring. I feel very creative and alive here and I look forward to working on my film LOVED and making New Music!!!,’ began Madonna. ‘This will be the next Chapter in My Book! It’s time to conquer the world from a different vantage point,’ she wrote.

A spokesperson for the singer told the AP that ‘the singer said she fell in love with the country after ending a tour there in 2004.’As for the movie the star’s directing, it’s called Loved.
