RTS defends its choice when Serifovic criticises their way of handling

SERBIA – It is revealed that Tijana Bogicevic was the fourth choice for Eurovision 2017 to represent Serbia in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. Only three points away, Serbia eliminated in the semi final. The singer is disappointed but it’s not the end of the world for her and the Serbian nation. music taste is subjective and some people probably didn’t like her song or performance, she stated. She is happy for the outcome of her team’s work on stage and for her performance.

2007 Eurovision winner for Serbia, Marija Serifovic said that unless RTS stops dealing with Eurovision as if it was an excursion, things will be like this. RTS immediately responded saying that they don’t look Eurovision in that way and they work hard for their project. RTS says there were difficulties with the organisers implementing their ideas something that many countries complaint about, as well. They are correct also saying that the Serbian entry was praised by the big majority of the press and media representatives in Kyiv.

In the meantime Tijana was the fourth choice for Kyiv. Aleksandra Radovic, Jelena Tomasevic και Ivana Peters were originally proposed to represent the country in Eurovision. Radovic’s excuse is that she had plans already immediately after Eurovision and couldn’t accept. Tomaseic claims that Eurovision is no more about music (we wonder then why Portugal won), and Peters says that just like last year when she composed the Serbian entry, a personal health problem didn’t allow her to travel by plane.

In the meantime Radovic doesn’t exclude a 2018 Eurovision participation as she states that: Why not? Everyone would like to represent their own country at Eurovision, but there must be worked on some conditions regarding the organisation. I couldn’t accept the offer this year because I was busy with my concerts.

Amir collaborates with OneRepublic and we expect a smashing hit

FRANCE – “No Vacancy” is a song by American pop rock band OneRepublic. It was released as a single via digital download on April 28, 2017. It was written by band members Ryan Tedder, Brent Kutzle, Drew Brown, and Zach Filkins, as well as Tor Erik Hermansen and Mikkel Storleer Eriksen from the Norwegian production and songwriting duo Stargate. The song was co-produced by Stargate and Tedder. A version featuring Colombian singer Sebastian Yatra was released on 19 May 2017.

After the release of OneRepublic’s fourth full-length studio album, Oh My My, the band halted all plans for touring and promoting the album following its release. Ryan Tedder described in a lengthy post on the band’s official Facebook page that they suffered from “crippling anxiety” due to the band’s constant touring, recording, and promoting methods.

Tedder revealed that the band was to begin releasing a new song “monthly, weekly sometimes”, departing from their typical album cycle process. He went on to describe the band’s future releases by stating “[the songs] will be varied and with collaborations and may feel bonkers at first. Some will be remixes, others will be just me on piano or guitar.

Some will sound super trendy and new, some will sound classic and old school or very OneRepublic.” In the same post, Tedder confirmed that the band were to release “new music scheduled 2 weeks” after “No Vacancy”.

“No Vacancy” is the first of a string of singles to be released by OneRepublic. Ryan Tedder will also release collaborations with various artists such as Camila Cabello.

Now, it is time for remix number two featuring none other than French Eurovision star from last year… Amir!
